Performance at Addison's Christmas Tree Lighting CANCELLED!
Please see this important message from Mr. Underwood regarding tonight's Tree Lighting Ceremony:
As you are aware, the Village of Addison Tree Lighting event is set for tonight.
As of right now, the weather forecast is calling for rain during the time that we are scheduled to perform. I reached out to the Village, asking if there was an alternate location for the performances in case the weather doesn't cooperate. I was told that the event will take place outside - regardless of the conditions tomorrow night.
The safety, health, and wellbeing of Lincoln Elementary students and their families is our number one priority. Having our children sing outside in cold, rainy weather simply isn't safe. In light of the weather forecast and in the best interest of our students, we've made the difficult decision to cancel our participation in this year's Village Tree Lighting event.
TONIGHT'S PERFORMANCE HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO THE WEATHER.
I apologize to those of you who were planning to attend the performance, but I hope that everyone is able to stay safe and warm and dry.
