The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) program is part of the U.S. government response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of P-EBT is to provide food assistance to families with students who would have received free or reduced lunch while attending school but are not receiving these meals in school due to COVID-19 restrictions. This is separate from any meals that families pick up on our Wednesday weekly food distribution.
Families do not need to apply or complete an application to receive P-EBT benefits. Benefits are based on student attendance and free/reduced lunch status data we continuously report to the state. With your school participating in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP), all students enrolled in your school are eligible to receive benefits.
